Parish Brickey was born 19 June 1833 in VA the son of Jarrard Brickey & Nancy 
Parish.He served with the army of the confederacy and about 1869 after the end 
of the hostilities between the North and South he moved his family to Little 
Fork an area in Elliott Co. Ky. He lived and raised his 11 children in Elliott 
and died 20 Sept. 1917 at Culver Ky. He married Mary Jane Green 26 July 1854 
in Scott Co. VA, She was born 18 April 1838 and was the daughter of Robert 
Green and Marinda Workman.Mary Jane died 16 Dec. 1909 Culver Ky Elliott Co.
