(With original spelling and punctuation throughout) Will of George Kelley Isonville, KY Nov 6. 1943 I George Kelley being of sound mind and memory realizing the uncertainty of life and the sureness of death publish and declare this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking all wills by heretofore made if any. Item one I bequeath and devise that my son Dewey Kelley be given a tract of land bounded as follows beginning at a small white oak across the state highway in front of my house going up the point to Ella Wheelers line running with said Wheelers line to a high knob thence down the pint with the Stinson line thence down the hill with fence to State Highway near first forks of road above Beech Grove Church house thence with highway to where first forks of road above Beech Grove Church house thence with highway to where first bend in the creek is and where creek and highway are nearest to each other on this farm below above mentioned church house then with the creek to the Vern Lewis line thence with said Lewis line to highway a road is to be left open from creek to highway with said Lewis line wide enough for necessary hauling of any thing on other side of creek on this farm thence across highway with said Lewis line to Jack Gillum line, thence with said Gillum line to Willie Gibson line thence with said Gibson line to a knob thence down the pint to the highway, thence down the highway to the beginning. Item 2 I bequeath and devise that daughter Mousie Kelley Hay be given a tract of land described as follows beginning near the mouth of the Coal Hollow then up the hollow with the cross fence to the top of the pint thence up the pint to John Gillum line thence with John Gillum line to Jack Gillum line thence with Jack Gillum line to creek at Vern Lewis line then up with the creek to the beginning. Item (3) I bequeath and devise that my son Oscar Kelley be given a tract of land described as follows beginning with Mousie H Hay line near mouth of Coal Hollow thence with said line to John Gillum line, thence with said Gillum line to Jim Phillips line, thence with said Phillips line to creek thence across the creek and up the hill a straight line to Dewey Kelley line thence back down the hill with said Dewey Kelley line following same line to the beginning. Item 4 I bequeath and devise that my son Hascull Kelley be given a tract of line described as follows beginning at the upper end of his garden running with drain up the hill to high knob and Dewey Kelley line thence down the point with said Dewey line until it strikes Oscar Kelley line, thence with the Oscar Kelley line down to the creek then up the creek to the beginning. Item (5) I bequeath and devise that my grand daughter Gladys Dails be given a tract of land described as follows beginning at mouth of hollow near a barn above school house then with fence up the hill to J F Mason line on top of the hill then down point and down the hill with said Mason line to the creek thence down the creek to the beginning. Item (6) I bequeath and devise that the remainder of my farm be equally divided among my three sons Haskull, Oscar, and Dewey and there is to be a free road from the head of the school house branch where or near it now is to the County Road. Item 7 I bequeath and devise that my wife Rosa Kelley shall have all of my personal belongings property and income from royalties, notes, etc, and that she shall pay all of my just debts and responsibilities and further that she shall have full control of my real estate as long as she lives and remains a widow. Item (8) I devise that my son Haskell Kelley be appointed administrator without bond of the above will. Signed George Kelley Testator Alonza Gillim Witnesses Franklin Gillim Clarence V Brickey Isonville Ky Nov 6-1943 Item (9) a Revision A part of the above will a revision of Item 6 at the date of this intend to make my daughter Verna Kelley Gillum a deed to a part of this farm but in order not leave her out in event of my death before that time I bequeath and devise that my daughter Verna Victory Gillum be given a tract of land described as follows beginning on a white oak at the beginning of Dewey Kelley line and with said Kelley line up the highway to a set in stone then across the branch and up the hill to the center of the point and with said line and point to Willie Gibson line thence with said Gibson line to J W Brickey line then with said Brickey line a Southward course with the boundary of my farm back to Dewey Kelley line then with said Kelleyline to beginning.
