Rice, Clayton 22 Apr 1912 05 Feb 1936 Sparks, Nannie Jenkins A member of the ECHGS was a neighbor to Mrs. Angeline Jenkins at the time of her death in 1937. She said that she went and helped the family during the time of Mrs. Jenkins' sickness and was at their home when Mrs. Jenkins passed away. She then went home and made Mrs. Jenkins a "shroud" of black material for all the ladies were buried in black at that time. She said that she made it with ruffles around the neck and at the end of the long sleeves. ****************************************** Copyright.
