In the 1838 Lexington city directory, Abraham Chrisman owned 450 acres of land on Jack's Creek Pike 12 mis. from the courthouse. Jefferson and Joseph Chrisman each were listed as owning 92.5 acres also on Jack's Creek Pike and also 12 mis. from the center of town.
