Martha WHEELER, a woman of color, came into court and it 
appeared to the court that the said Martha WHEELER is a free woman, was born 
free in the City of Lexington; she is the daughter of Betsey WHEELER, 
colored woman, who was a free woman at the birth of said Martha. The said 
Martha is about 20 years of age, 4 feet, 8 or 9 inches. It is ordered that a 
certificate of freedom be issued accordingly.
