DEED: Baptist Church of Christ, 1803 submitted by K. Scales Fayette Co., KY Deed Bk A, page 181 Indenture made 15 July 1803 between Hybert Brink, Robert Brink, Joseph Bradburn and Gracy Bradburn late Gracy Brink his wife of the County of Fayette and state of Kentucky of the one part and Robert Marshall, Roger Jones and Benjamin Grimes Trustees of the Babtist (sic) church of Christ at Boggs of Boones Creek of the county and state aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Hibert Brink, Robert Brink, Joseph Bradburn and Gracy Bradburn late Gracy Brink for and in consideration of the sum of one Dollar to us in hand paid acknowledge hath bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents do sell barbain and convey unto the said Trustees aforesaid in be half of the aforesiad church one certain tract or parcel of land lying in the County of Fayette on the waters of Boggs fork of Boons Creek containing two acres be the same more or less and bounded as follows. Beginning at a sugar tree thence 20 poles to three lyns growing from one Root thense north 16 poles to a stone thence east twenty poles to a stone thence south 16 poles to the beginning to include the stone meeting house. To have an to hold the said two acres of land withits appurtenances unto the said Trustees in behalft of said Church and their successors forever and the said Hibert Brink, Robert Brink, Joseph Bradburn and Gracy Bradburn his wife late Gracy Brink doth covenant and agree to and with the said Trustees that the said Hibert Brink, Robert Brink, Joseph Bradburn and Gracy Bradburn his wife late Gracy Brink warrant and forever defend the right of the above sold land with its appurtenances there unto belonging from them and their heirs forever unto the said Trustees and their successors forever.
