Robinson & James Welch Know all men by these presents that I Jeremiah White of the County of Fayette are held and firmly bound unto Benjamin Robinson and James Welch Deacons of the Baptist Church on Davids fork of the County aforesaid in the just and full sum of five hundred pounds current money to be paid unto them Benjamin Robinson and James Welch or their successors to the whole payment well and truly to be made I bind myself jointly and severally my several and joint heirs Executors and Administrators firmly by these presents sealed with my seal and dated this fifth day of April 1806 The Condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the said Jeremiah White hath this day agreed to sell for the sum of twenty shillings one acre of Land for the use of a meeting House for the worship of God Bounded as follows (viz) Beginning at a stake at the south East corner of said meeting House lot and running North seventy West 12.6 poles to another stake thence North thirty East 12.6 poles to a sugar tree in James Carvers line thence south seventy East 12.6 poles to a stake thence south thirty West 12.6 poles to the Beginning- and the said Jeremiah White do further agree with the said Benjamin Robinson and James Welch to make them a lawful Deed for the said one acre of land whenever he shall have obtained a Deed for the same and required by the said deacons or with one of them- and if the above agreement is well and truly complied with whenever demanded then the above obligation to be void else to remain in full force power and virtue.
