Patrick Henry Esquire Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia to all to
whom these presents shall come Greeting Know ye that by virtue and in
consideration of part of a Land office Treasury warrant Number 3879 & Issued
the 15th day of March 1780 there is granted by the said Commonwealth unto
Henry Lee a certain tract or parcel of Land containing Seven hundred fifty
acres by Survey bearing date the nineteenth day of March 1784 Lying and
being in the County of Fayette ____ ____ Waters of the north ____ of Licking
Creek Emptying in the south side where the ____ ____ crosses the said
(unreadable)

 as followeth To wit Beginning two miles up the said (?) creek from the
mouth at a white oak marked HL and other marked trees on the East of the
Creek thence South forty degrees West one hundred and sixty poles crossing
the Creek ____ Henry Lee ____ Hackberry and Buckeye thence South fifty
degrees East three hundred forty six poles ____ ____ north to a Hackberry
ash and two Buckeyes thence North ____ ____ East three hundred & forty six
poles Crossing the Creek To ____ white oak ____ oak and sugar tree thence
North fifty degrees West three hundred and forty six poles Crossing a small
branch to a Large ash Hackberry and small white oak thence South forty
degrees West one hundred & eighty six poles to the Beginning With its
appurtenances to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of Land With its
appurtenances to the said Henry Lee & his heirs forever In witness whereof
the said Patrick Henry Esquire Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia hath
hereunto set his hand and caused the lesser seal of the said Commonwealth to
be affixed at Richmond on the seventeenth day of July in the year of our
Lord one thousand seven hundred & Eighty five & and of the Commonwealth the
Tenth.
