Know ye that by virtue & in Consideration of part of a Land Office Treasury warrant No 8876 Issued the 12th day of November 1781 there is granted by the said Commonwealth unto Richard Bland Lee and Edmund Lee assignees of Richard Lee a certain tract or parcel of land containing three hundred and sixty one acres by Survey bearing date the third day of April 1786 lying and being in the County of Fayette on the North side of main Licking and bounded and followeth To wit Beginning at the upper corner of his former Survey of four thousand three hundred and forty acres at a Beech and Sycamore thence up Licking as it meanders South forty six degrees East one hundred and twenty two poles, South twelve degrees West twenty eight poles, South fourteen degrees East one hundred and fourteen poles South ten degrees West ninety four poles to a Sugar tree and ash thence leaving licking and running South Sixty two degrees East one hundred and fifty poles to a Stake thence North twenty eight degrees East two hundred and eighty poles to a white Oak, thence North sixty two degrees West two hundred and eighty poles to the Beginning with its appurtenances To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances to the said Richard Bland Lee and Edmund Lee and their Heirs forever In Witness whereof the said Beverley Randolph Esquire Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia hath hereunto set his hand and caused the lesser Seal of the said Commonwealth to be affixed at Richmond on the twenty first day of December in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety and of the commonwealth the fifteenth.
