Beverley Randolph Esquire Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia to all to
whom these presents shall come Greeting Know ye that by virtue and in
Consideration of a Land Office Treasury Warrant No 9753 Issued the 1Oth day
of December 1781, there is Granted by the said Commonwealth unto Richard
Lee, a certain tract or parcel of Land containing four thousand eight
hundred acres by survey bearing date the 6th day of April 1786 lying and
being in the County of Fayette and bounded as followeth To wit Beginning at
the upper corner of an Entry made in the name of Richard Lee Esquire for two
thousand acres at two sugar trees and black ash on the North bank of main
Licking, thence up the same West forty poles South sixty degrees West one
hundred and ten poles South twenty degrees East sixty poles South twenty
degrees West ninety four poles North sixty five degrees West sixty poles
South five degrees East seventy six poles, South fifty six degrees West
twenty eight poles, South twenty degrees West eighty six poles South seventy
degrees East forty poles North seventy degrees East fifty poles thence South
sixty degrees East one hundred and forty four poles South forty three
degrees West sixty six poles South eight degrees East forty eight poles
South thirty degrees East sixty poles North twenty three degrees East sixty
six poles South eighty degrees East forty poles South twenty degrees West
fifty poles South twelve degrees East sixty poles South thirty five degrees
East fifty poles South ten degrees East one hundred and four poles to allum
(?), walnut and sugar tree thence North eighty two degrees East eight
hundred and forty poles to a beech, poplar and black ash thence North eight
degrees West to two chesnut oaks thence South eighty two degrees West eight
hundred and forty poles to the Beginning with its Appurtenances, To have and
to hold the said tract or parcel of Land with its Appurtenances to the said
Richard Lee and his Heirs forever In Witness whereof the said Beverley
Randolph Esquire Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia hath hereunto set
his hand and caused the lesser Seal of the said Commonwealth to be Affixed
at Richmond on the tenth day of December in the Year of our Lord one
thousand seven hundred and Ninety and of the Commonwealth the fifteenth.
