Beverley Randolph Esquire Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia To all to
whom these presents shall come Greeting Know ye that by virtue and in
Consideration of three Land Office Treasury Warrants Numbers 8630, 8631, &
8632, Issued the 7th day of November 1781 There is Granted by the said
Commonwealth unto Richard Lee, a certain tract or parcel of Land containing
nine thousand two hundred and forty acres by survey bearing date the 28th
day of March 1786 lying and being in the County of Fayette on the main fork
of Licking and bounded as followeth To wit Beginning at the North West
corner of his former Survey of seven hundred and sixty acres at a white oak
thence South eighty two degrees East three hundred poles with the line of
said Survey to a Stake on the bank of Licking, thence up Licking as it
Meanders North seventy ____ degrees East forty poles South fifty five
degrees East eighty Poles North twenty seven degrees East sixty poles North
eighty seven degrees East eighty poles South seventy degrees East seventy
two Poles south forty five degrees East one hundred and four poles to the
mouth of Tripletts Creek North twenty five degrees East sixty two poles East
forty poles South seventy four poles South fifteen East one hundred and ten
poles, South seventy eight degrees East fourteen poles North twenty degrees
West fifty four poles North twenty seven degrees East one hundred and twenty
poles South seventy degrees East fifty four poles South forty one degrees

one degrees East one hundred and thirty eight South twenty degrees West

black ash, thence leaving the Creek and Running North eight degrees East one
thousand three hundred and seventy poles to two hickories and a Chesnut oak,
crossing a fork of Tripletts Creek at eight hundred seventy poles thence
North eighty two degrees West one thousand six hundred poles to two white
oaks and black oak crossing Tripletts Creek at three hundred and eighty
poles and a left hand fork at one thousand and seventy poles, thence South
eight degrees West seven hundred and seventy poles to the Beginning with its
Appurtenances to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of Land with its
appurtenances, to the said Richard Lee and his Heirs forever In Witness
whereof the said Beverley Randolph Esquire Governor of the Commonwealth of
Virginia hath hereunto set his hand and caused the lesser Seal of the said
Commonwealth to be Affixed at Richmond on the Tenth day of December in the
Year of our Lord one thousand seven Hundred and Ninety and of the
Commonwealth the fifteenth.
