Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. He died Tuesday at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. Born June 26, 1969, in Danville, he was the son of Joe Grubbs and Pat Sanders, both of Junction City. He was a volunteer for the Junction City and Boyle County fire departments and a member of West Lincoln Emergency Medical Service. Other survivors include a daughter, Brittany Grubbs of Junction City; two sons, Jordan Grubbs and Jeremy Grubbs, both of Stanford; a sister, Angie Hasty of Junction City; and maternal grandmother, Florence Sanders of Waveland, Ind. Pallbearers will be Troy Gammon, Eddie Hasty, Jeff Johnson, Dale Preston, Roy Miller, Ronnie Hughes, Dwayne Taylor and Jimmy Gipson. Honorary pallbearers are members of Junction City Fire Department. Visitation is 3-9 p.m. today at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home and after 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Memorials may go to Junction City Fire Department.
