Crouch Smith, 80, widow of Frank Smith, died at 5 o'clock yesterday morning at her home, 361 Translyvania Park, Lexington, where she had been ill for several months. She was a native of Bourbon county, the daughter of the late George Washington and Susan Sparks Crouch. She was a member of the Woodland Christian church. Her husband died in 1915 at their home at Jackstown. For the past 14 years she had lived with her daughter, Mrs. Oma S. Soper, and brother, Claude Warren Crouch. Mrs. Smith is survived by two children, Dr. Everett S. Smith, minister of the First Christian church, Miami, and Mrs. Oma S. Soper, superintendent of the Picadome elementary school; the following grandchildren, Keith Soper, Harrodsburg; Beatrice, Everett Jr. and Landis Smith of Miami; one sister Mrs. Maggie Terrell, Weston, Mo; three brothers, Oscar M. Crouch, Beloit, Wis, George Franklin Crouch, Little Rock, Bourbon county, and Claude Warren Crouch, Lexington. Funeral services will be conducted at the home at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. Hayes Farish, of the Woodland Christian church and the Rev. F. M. Tinder, of the North Middletown Christian church officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in the cemetery at Carlisle, Nicholas Co. Pllbearers will be Edgar Britton, Ray Hanley, Jesse L.
