September 24, 2009 Lexington Herold Leader
Stanback Lois (Horner), died on Sept. 23, 2007. She was the daughter of the late
Wilbur
and Hazel Horner and the widow of her husband of 49 years, Harris Stanback, Jr.
Once
active in the Lexington Woman’s Club and a member of the Centenary UMC, she also
attended the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. She is survived by five children:
Kathy Kenison, John (Lynn), Bob (Beth), Richard (Robin), Bill (Marvia) Stanback
and 11 beloved grandcildren. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m.
at the Centenary United Methodist Church, officiated by Dr. Donald Durham and
Dr. Ellen Marmon with Inurnment at the Lexington Cemetery Mausoleum. Gifts to
Hospice of the Bluegrass,
