Fournier (Mfournier@atlantic.net) September 11, 1999 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fayette County, Kentucky Will Book F, Pages 357-358 October 1824 Will dated November 1822 In the name of God Amen, I, George GRAY Senr. of Fayette County, being old and infirm, tho of sound memory, do make, constitute, and ordain this to be my last will and testament, as followeth viz; 1st. I bequeath — body to the dust from whence it came and soul to God who gave it, in full assurance that He will raise it again at the great day of the resurictional. 2ndly, I give to my wife Mary GRAY a negro girl named Milly, and a bay mare three years old past to be at her disposal to do as she pleases with at her death. She is also to be maintained and supported of off the farm as long as she lives. 3rdly. I give to my son Joseph GRAY one dollar to him and his heirs forever. 4thly. I give to my son Isaac GRAY the sum of one dollar to him and his heirs forever. 5thly. I give to my son George GRAY the sum of one dollar to him and his heirs forever. 6thly. I give to my daughter Hannah BENNING the sum of one dollar to her and her heirs forever. 7th. I give to my son James GRAY the sum of one dollar to him and his heirs forever. 8th. I give to my daughter Sarah TRAVIS the sum of one dollar to her and her heirs forever. 9th. I give to my son Jonathan GRAY the sum of one dollar to him and his heirs forever. 10th. I give to my son William S. GRAY the sum of one dollar to him and his heirs forever. 11th. I give to my daughter Martha GRIMES the sum of one dollar to her and her heirs forever. 12th. I give to my son Benjamin F. GRAY the sum of one dollar to him and his heirs forever. 13th. and lastly I give to my son John GRAY the tract of land whereon I now live containing one hundred and seventy-five acres. I also give two negro boys, one named Henry and the other Martin, my stock of all kinds and likewise my plantation utensils, etc. to him and his heirs forever.
