Dayton & hus. To-Deed Nannie E. Dayton. This Indenture, Make this day of 1905, Between Jennie L. Dayton and E. Dayton, her husband of Portsmouth, Ohio, parties of the first part, and Nannie E. Dayton, wife of G.W. Dayton [sic], of the County of Fleming and State of Kentucky, party of the second part-Witnesseth-That in consideration of ($1250.00) twelve hundred and fifty Dollars, paid cash in hand, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the parties of the first part do hereby sell and convey unto the party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, the following described real property, to-wit:- The one undivided half interest in a certain tract of land in Fleming County, Kentucky, Lying on the west side of the Maysville and Lexington Turnpike Road and bounded as follows: -Beginning at a set stone on the west margin of the said pike corner to Thomas Graves, thence with his line N. 54 ¾ w. to and passing a set stone upon the ridge corner to Graves and Ben Clark at 8/87 chains same course continued in all 22.37 chs. To the center of Johnson Creek a corner to Ben Clarke, thence down the center of said creek as it meanders N. 84 W. 7.66 chs. S. 78 ½ W 5.55 chs. N. 80 W. 5.56 chs. S. 87 ½ W. 1.96 chs. To a point in the center of said creek, opposite a small box Ender tree on the west side of the creek on the lands of Toler, and a corner to James Bishop, thence with Bishop's lines and leaving the creek and crossing the small branch in bottom lands S.10 E.5.44 chs. To a standing black locust post Bishop's corner, thence S.19 ¼ E. 7.15 chs. To a black oak stump, on the upper side of the road leading from Bishop's dwelling to the creek, the same being a corner to Bishop, thence along on the upper side of said road and with Bishop's line S.4 E. 5.50 chs. To a stake at the turn of the road corner to Bishop, thence S. 5 ½ W. 2.46 chs. To a stone corner to Bishop, thence with an other of his lines up the hill and across the ridge S.87 E.13.26 chs. To a stake in the orchard, thence S.27 ¾ W. 3.09 chs. To a stone on the west margin of the above named pike near the mouth of a culvert and a corner to Bishop, thence with his lines down the pike N.83 ½ E. 2.88 chs. To the center of the pike, thence N.48 E.3.58 chs. To the west margin of the pike, thence S.54 E. 2.27 chs. To the center of pike. Thence S. 73 E.9.64 chs. To Each margin of pike, thence N.66 ¾ E. 3.07 chs. To a stake on the East margin of the pike a corner to Bishop in James Grave's line, thence with his line N. 3/12 E.5.38 chs. To a stake on the East margin of the pike end at the turn of same, thence N.39 ½ E. 6.33 chs. To the beginning. Containing 64 acres, 2 roods and 33 poles. To have and to hold said property unto the party of the second part, her heirs and assigns forever with covenants of general warranty. Being a part of the land sold and conveyed by H.C. Hawkins and wife to Jennie L. Dayton and Nannie E. Dayton and recorded in Deed Book No. 66, Page 403, in the Fleming County Court Clerk's Office. In testimony whereof, the parties of the first part, who hereby relinquish and waive all claim to the above described property by virtue of the dower and homestead laws of Kentucky, have hereunto set their hands this the day and year first above written. Be it remembered, that on the Fourteenth day of April, in the year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred and five (1905), before me the subscriber, a Notary Public, in and for said County personally came Jennie L. Dayton and E. Dayton (her husband), the grantors in the foregoing deed, and acknowledged the signing thereof to be their voluntary act, for the uses and purposes therein mentioned.
