Rites Held For Pvt. Glibert Ovel Jones

  Funeral services for Pvt. Gilbert O. Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mason Jones, 
of Pecks Ridge and one of the first was dead from this county whose body has 
been returned from overseas, was held yesterday afternoon.
  The services were held from the battle Run church with Rev.Howard C. 
Edwards, pastor of the Elizaville Christian church in charge. Burial with 
military honors, was held in the Elizaville Cemetery with members of the W. N. 
Fant Post No. 5 officiating.
  Pvt Jones was listed as missing in action on November 21, 1944 in the battle 
of the Bulge, His body reached New York late last month
  He is survived by a son Mason Thomas Jones of Fleming County, Ky.
