The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ************************************************************************** Mrs. Gertrude Saunders Threlkeld about 64, died Wednesday shortly after 11 o'clock at Hayswood Hospital, Maysville, where she had been a patient for about a week. Mrs. Threlkeld had been in declining health for the past several months but her condition had not been considered critical. A native of Locust and lifelong resident of the county, Mrs. Threlkeld was a daughter of the late Anson D. and Sophronia Todd Saunders. She was a woman of friendly, gentle nature who was held in high regard by all who knew her. Surviving are her husband, Roy H. Threlkeld, manager of the Flu-No Company here, a son Saunders Threlkeld of Cincinnati and Mrs. R.C. Johnson, also of Cincinnati. Three grandchildren, Allen and Bobby Threlkeld of Cincinnati and Billy Jean Threlkeld, of Louisville. Also a brother W.P. Saunders of this county, Mrs. H.P. Garnett of Maysville and Goebel Saunders of new Castle, Ind. Another son, William Threlkeld, preceded her in death.
