FITZPATRICK, a native of Floyd County, Ky., was born July 25, 1851, and is a son of Henry C. and Minerva (Hamilton) Fitzpatrick, also natives of Floyd County. Grandfather Jonnathan Fitzpatrick came from Virginia, and was of Irish descent; the maternal grandfather was Stephen Hamilton. Hiram H. Fitzpatrick has always resided in Floyd County, and in 1874 was elected county and circuit clerk, being in politics a Democrat. In 1877 he married Miss Mary S. Davidson, daughter of Joseph M. Davidson, of Floyd County.
