Born Oct. 18, 1911, in Floyd County, she was widow of James T. Auxier. Survivors include three daughters, Mary Jane Nelson of Danville, Peggy A. Leake, of Richmond and Dr. Patricia L. Auxier of Killen, Ala.; two sons, Thomas A. Auxier of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Larry Auxier of Irvine; a sister, Lorena Horne of Prestonsburg; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
