Born June 10, 1917, in Floyd County, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Lillie Music George. She was a member of Alum Springs First Church of God and the widow of the Rev. Scott M. Griffith. Survivors include two sons, Norman Griffith of Danville and Larry Griffith of Hillsboro, Ohio; a daughter, Janice Cook of Greentown, Ind.; a sister, Ruth Watkins of Newark, Ohio; six grandchildren; and nine great- grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Alum Springs First Church of God by the Rev. Dennis Creech, Daryl Allen and Keith Willoughby. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Bud, Scott and Jeff Griffith, Mark Hite, Larry Peacock, Don George and Ron Critchfield.
