Wade Mullins,63,of Left Fork of Long Fork of Long Fork,died Monday,June 
28,2004,at his home.He was born in Pike County ,May 8,1941,a son of Farris 
Mullins and the late Alpha Stewart Fleming.He was an automobile mechanic.He 
was preceded in death by one brother,Don Mullins.Besides his father he is 
survived by his wife,Mattie Ruth Fleming Mullins;one son Robert L.Mullins of 
Long Fork; four daughters,Arlene Akers of Indian Creek,Janice Johnson of 
Georgetown,Christy Roberts of Robinson Creek,Kathy J. Tackett of Long Fork;two 
brothers,Paul Mullins of McRoberts and Lonnie Mullins of Long Fork;two 
sisters,Martha Little of McRoberts and Peggie Johnson of Long Fork;two half 
brothers, Carl Fleming of Virgina and Bruce Fleming of California;one half 
sister Rose Ann Carr of Florida;eight grandchildren and one special 
child.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.Thursday,July 1,in the Hall & 
Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Donald Keith Tackett,Brad Taylor and Eric 
Fleming officiating.Burial will follow in the Childers Cemetery,Long 
Fork.Arrangements are under direction of Hall & Jones of Virge.

Additional Comments:
Our father will be deeply missed,not just by his family,but by the 
community.We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped 
us thru the difficult days following his death,and especially thank the Shelby 
Vally Volunteer Fire Department,for the hournor they gave him with the escort 
to the cemetery.
