SALEM -- Robert L. Tindall, 55, died Tuesday at Floyd Memorial Hospital,
New Albany. He was a native of Floyd County, a former production manager       
of Salem Leader Publishing Co. and a member of  State Street Baptist Church, 
New Albany. Survivors: his wife, the former Daisy Courtney; five daughters,
Robin Tindall of Sellersburg, Kelly Houchens of Louisville, Lisa Tindall of
Springfield, Ore., Nicholle Smith of Leesville, La., and Joni Tindall; his 
mother, Helen Tindall of New Albany; two stepsons, Howard Courtney of Huff, 
Ky., and Douglas Courtney; three stepdaughters, Marlene  Howard of Canada, 
Joy Hattabaugh and Julie Anderson; two brothers, Michael Tindall of Virginia 
and Rick Tindall of Oaks, Okla.; and 12 grandchildren. Funeral: 10 a.m. 
Friday, Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home, Borden. Graveside service: 3 p.m. Friday, 
Cove Hollow Cemetery, near Brownsville, Ky. Visitation: after 10 a.m. Thursday.
