Dr. John Ewing died 1802, probably in Franklin County, Kentucky. He had a number of 
children, including a son, Francis Waller Ewing, and a daughter, Mary, who married 
James Sims. There were other sons and daughters whose names I am not sure about. 
The names of the parents of Dr. John Ewing are unknown; nor his wife. His wife could 
have been a Miss Waller. There was possibly a Sims family that lived in Madison, Clark, 
or Woodford Counties before 1860.
