Alleging abandonment and cruel and inhuman treatment, Mrs. James A. Baker 
filed suit for divorce in the Circuit Clerk's office yesterday. Mrs. Baker, 
who was before her marriage, Miss Alice McDonald, asks in the petition for 
restoration of her maiden name. She was married in 1911, but has been 
separated from her husband since last May.
