HOCKENSMITHS TO OBSERVE 50th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

 Mr. and Mrs. Bowen Hockensmith will observe their 50th wedding
anniversary with an open house at their home on Murrell St., Sunday, April
29.  The Hockensmiths were married April 25, 1923 in Frankfort by the
late Rev. Chesterfield Turner.

Mrs. Hockensmith was the former Gladys Tincher, daughter of the late
Mr. and Mrs. S. T. Tincher of Franklin County.

They have four children, Mrs. Carl Booth, Bobby G. and Bowen T. all
of Lexington, and Carl M. of Bagdad and 11 grandchildren.
