Obit:  Mrs. Bessie Young.  Services for Bessie Mae Stigers Young, 79, Ft. 
Boone Plaza, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the harrod Brothers Memorial Chapel.  
She died 1:25 p.m. Thursday at King's Daughters Memorial Hospital following a 
long illness.  Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cememtery.  She was a Franklin 
County native and a member of the Beechridge Baptist Church.  Surviving are 
two sons, Harold Stigers, Louisville, and Allen Gene Stigers, Harlingen, 
Texas;  11 step-sons, Franklin Young, Garnett Young, Ray Young, Billy Young, 
Herman Young, Bobby Young, Benny Young, Freddy Young, and Jimmy Young, all of 
Frankfort, and Dallas Young  and Lewis Young, both of Shelby County;  three 
step-daughters, Mrs Julia Foster, Mrs Anita Shields, both of Frankfort and Mrs 
Alma Franklin, Shelby County; a brother, Paul Perkins, Columbus, Ind.; three 
sisters, Elizabeth Padgett, Hartsville Ind, Aleen Dillard, Gallatin Tenn., and 
Latisha Smith, Frankfort.  She was the widow of Hubert Franklin Young, and the 
daughter of the late Frances and Daisey Perkins.  The Rev. Tim Owings will 
officiate.  Honorary bearers will be Ray Young, Bobby Young, Benny Young, 
Dallas Young and Freddie Young.  Active bearers wil be Jimmy Young, Herman 
Young, Billy Young, Franklin Young, Garnett Young and Lewis Young.  Friends 
may call at the chapel after 2 p.m. Saturday.
