KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That we, Thomas Noble and Henry Patterson are
held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky, in the sum of 50L, 
to the payment whereof well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our 
heirs, &c. jointly and severally, firmly by these presents.  Sealed with our 
seals, and dated this 12th day of April 1820.
The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas a marriage is 
shortly to be solemnized between the above bound Thomas Noble and Sally 
Patterson of this county: Now shall it always hereafter appear that there 
is no just cause to obstruct the said marriage, then the above obligation 
to be void, else to remain in full force and virtue.

	Thomas Noble stating that he and his father reside in the county of 
Franklin made oath that he is of the age of Twenty one years or upwards.  
This affidavit is made for the purpose of obtaining lisence to intermarry 
with Sally Patterson of this County.
