McClellan, all of this county. 14 February A Revolutionary War soldier died in this county on the 10th instant, Capt. William Merriweather was 86 years old. He was originally from Virginia and lately of Jefferson Co., Ky. 18 April Masonic Notice - On the fourth Sabbath in May next, the Dresden, Tenn. Died on the 25th instant, Mary Virginia, infant daughter of John F. and Ann C. Gee of this place. 27 June Married on the 23rd instant by Esq. Cage Hale, John Warren of this place and Sarah Y. Duncan of Obion Co., Tenn. 8 August Died of billious Fever on the 1st instant in Moscow, Ky., James Millegan, a native of Ireland. He came to Virginia with his parents and then to Kentucky when he was 24. He leaves a wife and three children. Died at his residence in Henry Co., Tenn., on the 25th ultimate, James C. Gainer. 15 August Married in this county on the 7th instant by Rev. J. B. Hubbard, Thomas S. Stacy and Miss Martha N. Dorriss. Married at Madris Bend July 10th by Rev. Jesse Leigh, David Caddi, late of D. C. to Miss Rebecca Colley of Tenn., Married at residence of Col. L. S. Banks on the 21st instant by Rev. James C. Elliott, M. C. Gallaway to Miss Fanny B. Barker all of this place. 22 August Died in Dresden, Weakley Co., tenn., Mrs. Ann Elizabeth Mitchell, consort of J. W. C. Mitchell all of this place. Married at Equality on the 31st ultimate by Rev. B. F. Spilmon, John Siddell, cashier of the Bank of Illinois at that place, to Mrs. C. A. McGehee of Greenville, Ky. 19 Sept. Died in this place on the 7th instant in the 2nd year of age, William Ephraim, only son of Columbus C. Davidson of Louisiana. Died on the 14th instant, Mary Jane, youngest daughter of C. C. Davidson of Louisiana.
