Turning Back the Clock - Hickman Courier

1 January 1905

   The Hickman Wagon Company, established in 1858 by 
Charles and Phillip Baltzer and Otto and Max Hertwick, 
later practically owned by H. A. Tyler and son, has 
passed into other hands. The new company is made up 
of local businessmen C. F. Baltzer, R. T. Tyler, H. 
Baltzer, and H. C. Beckman signing the articles of 
incorporation.

   A Syrian, Moze Barkett, this week shipped 2 barrels 
of cottonseed to his native land for planting purposes.
