Mrs. Brown Dies

   Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Baker Brown died at 1:45 a.m. May 16 at the home 
of her son, John Baker, RFD 4.

   Daughter of Alfred Watson and Julia Perry Watson, she was reared in 
the Beech Grove community.

   Funeral services were held at Beech Grove Methodist Church at 2 p.m. 
May 18 with Bro. Hoffman of Samburg officiating. Pallbearers were Bill 
Barnett, Joe O'Conner, James E. White, Ilie Thomas, Marshall Jones, 
Junior Council.

   She is survived by her husband, Walter L. Brown; three sons, John 
Baker, Robert Belt and Jessie Williams; one daughter, Mrs. George Higgins; 
all of Hickman; a brother, Eddie Watson of East Prairie, Mo.; 17 grand- 
children and several nieces and nephews.
