BETTY ANDERSON

   Mrs. Betty E. Anderson, 58, a resident of Hickman, Ky., died Wednesday 
July 17, 1991 at her home.

   Born June 8, 1933 in Hickman, she was the daughter of the late A.R. 
Edwards and Rossie Rambo Edwards.

   She was married to Clarence Anderson and was a member of West Hickman 
Baptist Church. Mrs. Anderson was a graduate of Hickman High School. For 
many years she was employed at E.W. James & Sons Supermarket in Hickman.

   Services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 19, at Strong Cryer Funeral 
Home in Hickman with Rev. Bobby Roberts officiating. Burial followed in 
the Hickman City Cemetery.

   Survivors in addition to her husband include: a brother, R.A. Edwards 
of Hickman; a sister, Mrs. Bethel Choate of Hickman; nieces and nephews, 
Mrs. Phyllis Simmons, Phil and Karen Choate and Dale Edwards of Hickman, 
Mrs. Jo Edwards and Mrs. Lana Glidewell of Kentucky, Al and Betsy Choate 
of Murray, Ky., and Mrs. Linda Ludiker of California; great-nieces and 
great-nephews, Hollica Ludiker, Dana Ludiker, Chip Simmons, Dan Simmons, 
Porter Glidewell III, Hec Rice and Ross Edwards.
 
   She was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Lee Edwards.
