Died 18 April 2005
  Services for Billy Joe "Bud" Caldwell, 60, of 
Union City will be at 1 p.m. today at Strong Funeral 
Home with the Rev. Archie Larry officiating. Burial 
will be in Brownsville Cemetery. 

  Mr. Caldwell died at 11:45 a.m. at his home. A native 
of Hickman, he was a U.S. Army veteran and a member 
of West Hickman Baptist Church.
 
  Surviving are his mother, Elizabeth Caldwell of Union 
City; a brother, James Caldwell of Lakeland, Fla.; and 
six sisters, Betty Goff, Jean Baggett and Treva Lewis, 
all of Union City, Martha Curlin and Carolyn Caldwell, 
both of Memphis, and Melinda Tipp of Obion.

  He was preceded in death by his father, Connie Caldwell. 

  Friends may call after 9 a.m. today at the funeral home.
