The Fulton News - September 17, 1959 ******************************** Clyde Burnett Clyde Burnett, Mayfield attorney and former Graves County Judge, died suddenly Saturday, while serving as a pallbearer at the funeral of his aunt, Mrs. Lina Magness. The funeral party was enroute to the cemetery when Mr. Burnett asked to ride in the funeral car since he was not feeling well. He sat down in the cab of the car, suffered a heart attack and died instantly. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Byrn Funeral Home with Rev. John Huffman officiating. Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery. He was 67 and a World War I veteran. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Zula Burnett; a daughter J. H. Looney of Mayfield; a son , Billy Clyde Burnett of Mayfield; a sister, Mrs. Wallace Cosby of Mayfield; four grandchildren.
