Fulton Leader - Dec.2, 2003 Diane Blevins, a resident of Dukedom, died on Nov. 24 at Parkway Regional Hospital. She was 49. Services were on Nov. 29 at Jackson Funeral Home in Dukedom, with the Rev. Rick Walker officiating. Burial was in Acree Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Earl ‘Hoppy’ Brozell; her father, Richard Cockrell of Chicago; a daughter, Joanna R. Blevins of Hanover Park, Ill.; a son, Michael E. Clemans of Carol Stream, Ill.; two sisters, Rose Marie Blevins and Donna Fuzzell, both of Dukedom; a brother, Jerry Cherry, also of Dukedom; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Ruth Cockrell. Born on May 5, 1954, in Dallas, Texas, she was a member of New Salem Baptist Church and had moved to the area in 1995 from Chicago.
