Elvie Jackson, 92

  Services for Elvie M. Jackson, 92, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at 
Hornbeak Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Chip Davis will officiate, with 
burial in Obion County Memorial Gardens. 

  Mr. Jackson died at 10:20 p.m. Thursday at Haws Memorial Nursing 
Home. He was a retired supervisor for Sears and was a member of Oak 
Hill Methodist Church. 

  Surviving are his wife, Virginia Irene Grubbs Jackson; one son, Bob 
Jackson of St. Augustine, Fla.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 
and two great-great-grandchildren. 

  He was preceded in death by one son, William Alfred Jackson; and eight 
brothers and sisters. His parents were William Washington Jackson and 
Florence Louiza Copeland Jackson. 

  Friends may call between 4 and 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until the 
funeral hour Monday at the funeral chapel.
