Services For Mrs. Pilant Held Tuesday

   Funeral services for Mrs. Eliza Pilant, 76, were held at Barrett's 
Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. John M. Statham, pastor 
of David's Chapel Baptist Church officiating. Burial followed at City 
Cemetery.

   Mrs. Pilant died at Obion County Hospital Sunday afternoon after a 
long illness. Mr. Pilant was in the hospital at the time with the flu 
and was released long enough to attend his wife's funeral.

   Survivors include: her husband; one sister, Mrs. Belle Badger of 
Manila, Ark.; a half sister, Mrs. Winnie Copas of Red Rolling (?) 
Springs, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
