Edward Jones - died 15 Jan. 2003

  HICKMAN, Ky.--Services for Edward P. Jones, 84, 
of Hickman will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Strong 
Funeral Home with the Rev. Ben Stratton officiating. 
Burial will be in Hickman City Cemetery with full 
military rites. 

  Mr. Jones died at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday at Baptist 
Memorial Hospital in Union City, Tenn. 

  A U.S. Army military police veteran of World War II, 
he was a native of Hickman and a member of East Baptist 
Church.

  Surviving are two sons, Larry Jones and Raymond Jones, 
both of Hickman; four grandchildren; and three great-
grandchildren. 

  He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Jones; 
and one brother. His parents were Edward Jones and Mamie 
Andrews Jones. 

  Friends may call from 6 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
