Hickman Courier GOOD WOMAN GONE Mrs. Emma Saunders, wife of J. H. Saunders, died yesterday Morning at 2 o'clock, after a few days illness of pneumonia and Heart trouble. She was 53 years of age and had been a member of the Christian Church for a number of years, transferring her membership from the church here to Mt. Hermon several years ago. She a noble christian woman and followed in the footsteps of her Lord, whom she loved so well. Burial will take place at 3 o'clock this afternoon at the City Cemetery. Rev. R. P. Meeks of Coorinth, Miss, will conduct the Funeral services. A coffin 32 inches wide had to be made for the body. She is survived by her husband and ten children, as follows: Walter and Hugh of California; Charles of Jacksonville, Ala.; Guy of Amarillo, Texas; Harry of Jackson, Tenn.; Mrs. E. Bettersworth and Otto M. Saunders of Hickman; Mrs. Faye Davis and Miss Jessie and Prather Saunders who are living at the old home place. Mrs. Saunders was a cousin of E. E. Reeves, of this city. A good Woman has gone to her reward. The Courier extends sympathy to the family in their sad hour of bereavement. Buried at Hickman City Cemetery Born 30 Nov.1853 Died 2 April 1913
