Howard Anderson Howard Anderson, 80, of 1005 Moscow Ave. In Hickman, Ky.; died at 12:18 p.m. on Feb.15, 1998, ay his home. Services were set for 2 p.m. today at Strong Funeral Home in Hickman with the Rev. Chip Davis officiating. Burial was to follow in Hickman City Cemetery. Pallbearers were to be Raymond Jones, Steve Jamison, Donald Coffey, Larry Jamison, Kenny Alle, Jack Ballow, Harry Poyner, Charles George, Davy Allen, and Dennis Allen. Honoary pallbearers were to be Bill Newton’s Sunday School Class, Henry White, Mike White, Charles A. Everett, Dr. Richard White and Phillip Grissom. He was born Feb.27,1917 in Hickman, son of the late Ezra and May (Stowe) Anderson. He was married to Joyce Anderson and had owned and operated Anderson’s Service Station in Hickman for several years. He was a member of Hickman First Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Survivors in addition to his wife, include a son, Ronnie Anderson of South Fulton; a daughter, Cindy Gorton of Union City; two sisters, Betty Cagle of ickman and Ellen Jamison of South Fulton; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, John Rogers Anderson; two sisters, Helen Waller and Christine Grissom. Not sure what newspaper
