Fulton Daily Leader - Tuesday Evening - July 12, 1910 Prominent Citizen Dead - Another of Fulton's most prominent citizens passed over the dark side when death claimed James Kennedy, a pioneer resident of this section. The end came as a welcome relief from long suffering. For several months past he had been confined to his bed with some form of stomach or liver trouble. He suffered acute agony but bore it all with great Christian fortitude. The deceased was the owner of the Kennedy block on the hill and possessed other valuable property interests in Fulton and in South Fulton. He is survived by his aged and faithful wife. The funeral services were conducted this afternoon at four o'clock and interment followed at Fairview Cemetery.
