Hickman Courier Council Buried in Hickman ************************* John David Council, 41, died April 30 at his home in Aurora, Illinois where he was employed by Barber Green Construction Company for the past 15 years. Born July 22, 1920, he was a veteran or World War II. Funeral services were held May 3 at the Church of God with Bros. Paul Presley and Gerald D. Green officiating. Burial was in East Hickman Cemetery with Barrett Funeral Home in charge. Pall bearers were nephews: Gene Gray, Union City; Jerry Gray, Hickman; Paul H. Russell, Union City and friends; Don Haynes, Hickman; Jerry Ray Cunningham, Hornbeak; Charles Murphy, Samburg. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Phillips Council; two daughters, Sharon Kay, 15, and Diane, 9; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Claude Council, Hickman; four sisters, Mrs. Mary D. Gray, Hickman, Mrs. Opal Erwin, Osceola (?), Ind.; Mrs. Ruth Jackson, Oswego, Ill.;Mrs. Christine Daniels, Union City; three brothers, James D.
