Lawrence Ellis Jr. - died 17 April 2002

  HICKMAN, Ky.--Services for Lawrence Eugene 
"Larry" Ellis Jr., 68, of Covington, Tenn., 
will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Strong Funeral 
Home in Hickman. The Rev. Henry Callison will 
officiate. Burial will be in Hickman City Cemetery. 

  Mr. Ellis died at 3:35 p.m. Wednesday at his home. 

  A native of Asheboro, N.C., he was a self-employed 
electrician and a Marine veteran. 

  Surviving are his wife, Joyce Stem Ellis; two 
daughters, Vickie Marie Metz of Virginia and Sheryl 
Johnson of South Carolina; and several grandchildren.
 
  His parents were Lawrence and Margaret Ellis. 

  Friends may call from 6 to 8 this evening at the 
funeral home.
