  Mrs. Lizzie Roberts, 83, died at the home of her daughter, 
Mrs. Bonnie House in Detroit early Friday afternoon, after a 
long illness. She was one of the oldest members of the Dukedom 
Methodist Church.

  She is survived by five sons; William and Gilbert of Dukedom,
Arvel and Noble of Detroit and Francis of Corpus Christi, Texas. 
Three daughters, Mrs. Bonnie House of Detroit, Mrs. Kenneth 
Speakman of Sturgis, S. D. and Mrs. J. T. Jackson of Mayfield. 
Several grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Captie Momany of 
Jonesboro, Ark.

  Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Dukedom 
Methodist Church with the Rev. Norman Crittendon officiating. 
Burial was in Pinegar cemetery, with Jackson Bros. Funeral Home 
in charge of the arrangements.
