  Nelson Oatsvall, a resident of Hickman, died on Dec. 13 at Parkway 
Regional Hospital in Fulton. He was 78.
 
  Graveside services were on Dec. 14, with the Rev. Henry Callison
officiating. Burial was in Hickman City Cemetery. 

  Survivors include a daughter, Jan Garland of Clinton; and one granchild
and two great-grandchildren. 

  He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Weatherly Oatsvall; and his
parents, Jeff and Cecile Oatsvall. 

  Born on July 21, 1925, in Camden, Tenn., he was a Baptist.
