Hickman Courier - "Turning Back the Clock" 17 February 1927 Paul Kerlin McKelvey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan McKelvey, living near State Line, died Sunday of tetanus or lockjaw. He had had a swelling in his neck, but no scratch of hurt was in evidence that could have caused the affliction. He was 14 years old and a pupil in the Sylvan Shade school, where he was popular alike with fellow students and teachers.
