Fulton Daily Leader November 1911 ***************** Funeral of Mrs. R. H. Binford held Saturday Large Concourse of Sorrowing Friends Present to Pay Respects to Memory Of Good Woman Funeral services over the remains of Mrs. R. H. Binford, who died Thursday night at the family residence 4 1/2 miles northwest of town, were conducted at the residence Saturday at 1 o'clock Rev. J. A. Lowery, a former pastor of the deceased preached the funeral sermon and in a very impressive manner eulogized the life of this goo woman. The services were attended by a very large concourse of sympathizing friends and relatives and many beautiful flowers were placed on the mound. The grief stricken sons, daughters, and other relatives have the sympathy of the entire community in their hour of sadness and tenderest condolence is extended. The death of a mother is probably the saddest of any, for all realize that when that beloved form is laid beneath the sod the best friend on earth is forever gone and the tender ministrations are forever at an end. She is gone, but Heaven's jewels have a greater lustre since her passing.
