  Turney Lee Byrd, a resident of Fulton, died Dec. 10 at Haws Memorial 
Nursing Home. He was 81.
 
  Services were Dec. 13 at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ann 
Bledsoe officiating, and burial at Rock Springs Cemetery in Fulton County.
 
  He is survived by a son, Jeffery Lee Byrd of Owensboro, and two
granddaughters, Laura Byrd and Jamie Byrd, both of Owensboro.
 
  He was preceded in death by his parents Eddie Byrd and Julia Ann 
Finch Byrd. Born in Hickman County on July 1, 1922, he was retired 
Illinois Central Railroad Employee, a member of the Crutchfield United 
Methodist Church, and was a resident of this area all of his life.
