See Dr. Bogardus also notes that Johnson Hoagland and Sarah (Satchwill) Hoagland were born in N.J. and that they were married 05-10-1816 in Fayette County. He also notes that Johnson Hoagland was the son of Martin Hoagland born in N.J. 05-17-1739 and Rebecca Opolyke born 11-09-1740. Dr. Bogardus states that Martin Hoagland was a Capt. Rev. War. wounded at Battle of Princeton. More of his notes include Rebecca Robinson's maiden name being Hoagland. Diannah See's maiden name also being Hoagland. All these notations are on his transcription of the Hoagland Cemetery.
