DEEDS: Breeden, 1861, Gallatin Co submitted by "Phyllis Hill" Gallatin County, KY Deeds William Jackson to Elisha Breeden This Indenture made and entered into this 18th day of January 1861 between William Jackson & Nancy Jackson his wife of the first part of the County of Greene and State of Indiana and Elisha Breeden of the County of Gallatin and State of Kentucky of the second part Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of One Hundred Dollars to them in hand paid the ricpt whereof is hereby Acknowledged have this day Granted Bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain Sell and Convey unto the said Elisha Breeden his heirs and Assigns forever all the right title interest claim and demand of the said parties of the first part both at law or Equity now present in Expentancy reversion or remainder of in or to both the real and personal Estate of Andrew Breeden decd late of Gallatin County Kentucky the real estate hereby intended to be Conveyed Consists of two tracts the one situate in said last named county and State lying on the waters of Lick Creek Containing One Hundred thirty one Acres & 3 roods & 33 poles and being the same tract of land Conveyed by Edward West to Andrew & Elisha Breeden by deed bearing date October 6 1860 and recorded in the Clerks office of the Gallatin County Court in Deed Book P page 470. The other tract lies partly in the said County of Gallatin & partly in the County of Carroll in said State of Kentucky on the waters of Lick Creek and being the same land as Conveyed by Francis Baldwin & wife to Elisha Breeden & Andrew Breeden by deed bearing date 6th day of November 1857 and recorded in the Clerks office of Gallatin County Court in deed Book P page 23. To have and to hold the aforesaid interest in said land and personal property unto him the said Elisha Breeden his Heirs and Assigns forever. The Grantors hereby warranting the property hereby conveyed against the Claim or Claims of all persons claiming by through or under them.
